I am very grateful for the event that I had the opportunity to hold at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) in Lima as part of the “Cultural Fridays” series – initiated by Mr. Iván Herrera Orsi and the Department of Humanities.
Together, we reflected in a lively way on intercultural communication in comparison between Germany, the United States, and Peru – with wonderful and active participation from the students.
The event brought me great joy and showed once again how valuable exchange, a change of perspective, and cultural curiosity are for successful international collaboration.
Many thanks also for the wonderful coffee and cake reception in the university garden, as well as for the many inspiring follow-up conversations and impulses afterwards.

Estoy muy agradecida por el evento que tuve la oportunidad de realizar en la Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) en Lima, en el marco de la serie “Cultural Fridays”, iniciativa del Sr. Iván Herrera Orsi y del Departamento de Humanidades.
Juntos reflexionamos de manera muy dinámica sobre la comunicación intercultural, comparando Alemania, Estados Unidos y Perú, con una excelente y activa participación de los estudiantes.
El evento me dio mucha alegría y mostró una vez más lo valiosos que son el intercambio, el cambio de perspectiva y la curiosidad cultural para una colaboración internacional exitosa.
Muchas gracias también por la maravillosa recepción con café y pastel en el jardín de la universidad, así como por las numerosas conversaciones e ideas inspiradoras que surgieron después.
